The United Farm Workers Foundation has been offered a wonderful fundraising opportunity. As you may already know, the Zoot Suit play written and directed by Luis Valdez, founder of Teatro Campesino, is now playing at the Mark Taper Theater in downtown Los Angeles. It was the first Chicano play on Broadway when it originally hit the stage in 1978. In 2017, it is still very relevant given today's anti-immigrant political climate. We have been offered tickets at a discounted price as a UFW Foundation fundraising opportunity for the show on the evening of
Friday, 3/24/17.
WE ARE SOLD OUT! Thank you for all of your support. We look forward to seeing you on Friday.
Friday, March 24th, 2017
8:00 P.M.
Mark Taper Theater
135 N. Grand Ave.,
Los Angeles, CA 90012
The face value is over $200 for each ticket. We'd love for you to be a part of this event while supporting our work to protect farm workers and other low-income immigrants from anti-immigrant attacks. Our "Know Your Rights" community outreach, immigration legal services, and advocacy work is needed now more than ever.
